Boudoir sessions take place at my private studio in Baldwinsville, NY.
Absolutely not! There's no pressure at all to be completely nude or to any level of undress that you’re not comfortable with. Lingerie is not required to be sexy!
Anything that makes you feel confident & sexy! If you’re leaning towards lingerie, bodysuits look amazing on all body types - and you can’t beat a classic, black lace bra. Neutral colors like black, white or beige look super tasteful and elegant with my studio set.
You can do a lot with items you may already have in your wardrobe - jeans, a white t-shirt, a sheer robe, oversized button up shirt. The options are endless!

I do not currently offer a client closet - you'll be responsible for providing your own wardrobe items. (Except the white sheet of course - I've got you covered there!)
I typically keep the photo retouching pretty minimal, as I still want you to look like you! I remove small blemishes (and scars if requested). I do a bit of skin smoothing which will typically minimize stretch marks or “problem areas” but still keep things looking natural. If you desire more extensive retouching, we can talk about that at your image reveal. Just ask!
No, I currently only offer boudoir sessions for women.
No! Your images are NEVER shared without your permission and there's no pressure to sign a model release. Your privacy is my top priority, so rest assured that you’re in good hands.

Typically we'll spend about 4 hours together on your photo shoot day. You’ll be in hair & makeup for an hour or so, then we’ll shoot for about 90 minutes. You’ll want to take a sneaky day off work so you don’t feel rushed and can fully relax during your session!
We will schedule your viewing & ordering appointment a few days after your photo shoot. This is when you’ll get to see your stunning photos and select your favorites.
We'll meet via zoom, I share my screen & you'll see the unedited images. We can spend as much time as you need to pick out your favorites. After you choose your final images, I'll do the signature Carly Boudoir retouch so they're *flawless*.
Yes, digital images are included with most of my collections!
Photo shoots take place Monday-Thursday between 10 am - 3 pm.
I recommend taking the day off from work so you don’t feel rushed and can fully relax during your session.
YES! I'll guide you with posing & facial expressions the entire time, so you don’t need to worry at all. Zero modeling experience required, I promise!
Yes, 1000%. Most of my clients have never done a photo shoot before and don’t consider themselves “models” — and that’s exactly who this is for. Women who want to empower themselves, step into their confidence, and see themselves in a whole new light. You don’t need to know how to pose. I’ll guide you every step of the way to make sure you feel confident, comfortable, and look incredible. This experience is about celebrating you — your beauty, your story, your power.
