“After I started seeing boudoir photoshoots come across my social media platforms, I became interested in the idea of booking a shoot of my own prior to my wedding. Although I knew this would be a great gift for my then fiancé, it also seemed like a very empowering experience for the person getting the pictures taken and I really liked that aspect of the shoot as well. I decided to schedule a consultation phone call with Carly to learn more about what would be involved with the shoot. Right from this initial conversation, Carly shared my idea that most importantly, this would be a fun, empowering experience for myself and secondly, I would have amazing pictures to gift to my husband on my wedding day. Initially, this was something that was outside of my comfort zone but Carly helped my confidence to shine throughout the entire process. The day of the shoot, I arrived at Carly’s beautiful home studio and got my hair and makeup done before taking the pictures. During the photoshoot, Carly told me exactly how to pose myself and pumped me up the entire time to make it a very comfortable, confidence-boosting experience. My husband was just as surprised as I was expecting him to be when I gave him the pictures the night of our wedding! He of course loved the pictures but most importantly, he was also super proud of me for putting myself out there in this way, stepping out of my comfort zone a bit, and getting the chance to see myself the way he sees me! I cannot recommend a session with Carly enough. Even if the idea makes you nervous and you think that isn’t for you, I highly suggest having a phone call with Carly to find out more.
